"Oil of Excellence Award" for oil in Japan

The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ICCJ), in collaboration with "Japan Olive Oil Tasters Club", from the "Italian Olive Oil in Japan" association, held the first edition of the JOOP (Japan Olive Oil Prize) Contest in Tokyo, the 18th of March 2013.
The aim of the contest was to promote extra-virgin olive oils of all origin in Japan, implementing the efforts of oil producers to improve the quality of their products, and promoting them to public/private institutions, trade-distribution channels and direct consumers.
The oil from Villa Stabbia was presented and decorated with an "Oil of Excellence" award.
