The Villa Stabbia Riding Centre

The philosophy behind the training and daily care of the horses is very simple.
 Respect!
Respect for nature, Respect for each horse and its individuality, Respect for natural rules in the herd but also that the horses show respect for people and each other.
Furthermore, Respect for safety. 

What we DO:

• Lessons in English riding for children from 4 years old and up.
• Lessons in Dressage / English riding for all levels between Beginners up to Level 5.
• Lessons in Western riding for all levels between Beginners up to Level 3.
• Lessons in Jumping for all levels between Beginners up to Level 4.
• Learn to Ride packages
• Horse riding holidays
• Horse riding trips and trails from 1 hour to days discovering Tuscany.
• Small walks around the farm for small children or beginners.

What we DON'T DO :

• Venture out on trail riding with riders of no or little experience.
• According to Italian low, children under 14 years of age are not allowed to ride on public roads - hence no trail riding outside the farm for children under 14 years of age - irrespective of experience.
• Accept riders riding without a helmet.
• Rent out horses without instructor or guide.

Security and respect for the horses and environment is the foundation for all riding at Villa Stabbia.

Secondly, it has to be a positive experience for rider and horse together, plus provide an option for the rider to bond with the horse and to get to know more about these wonderful animals.
