Major storm hitting all of Tuscany
March 2015
Never before has a storm that strong been recorded in Tuscany, it affected the entire region on the night of the 5th of March, with peaks up to 160km / h.
The dramatic effects of the wind storm was a real disaster creating considerable damage.
At Villa Stabbia around 20 trees, mainly olive trees but also some Acacia fell down. Luckily no major damage to buildings happened except the roof of the old house on the hill.
All the Olive Trees were replanted, and most managed to survive.
