Saggio - the annual Horse Riding show

Once more, it was time for the horses to have their annual bath, so they could look their best for the annual show at the riding centre.
The riders then took to the water in the pool, before tacking the horses up and starting the event.
As per tradition, the younger ones showed their riding abilities in the round-pen followed by a small break due to the heat and general refreshments. Then it was time for the more experienced riders in the large arena the whole afternoon, ranging from jumping, dressage and pony-games.
Unfortunately, Pioggia fell ill the morning, so several of the riders had to ride a horse they had never tried before. Luckily Pioggia had already recovered by the end of the day.
