Horses moving in - Pippo & Zazu
July 2004
Throughout history, horses have always been present at Villa Stabbia. In the cellar wagons were still present and old horse shoes can still be found in various buildings, forgotten by time.
However just after the war, the horses started to disappear and soon after there was a long period where hooves were not walking up and down the drive.
In July, two youngish geldings moved in; Pippo, a 6 year old appaloosa and Zazu, a 5 year old anglo-arab.
Though they didn't know each other until they came here, they quickly formed a tight friendship.
Pippo with his extremely playful and strong character, always on the look out for making trouble contra Zazu's calm and easy-going nature.
